Wonderful Christmas Eve for MTQI 2011 girls in Xi’an

The 92 Miss Tourism Queen International candidates this year will certainly never forget the Christmas of 2011! Right before midnight, they were taken on a train city tour, ending on a giant Christmas tree, and thousands of people waiting for them. When it was midnight, they saw the beautiful fireworks, and then returned to the hotel, where a sumptuous Christmas banquet awaited for them.

They exchanged gifts, danced, sang and spent some great times together. During the festivities, GlobalBeauties.com correspondent here was taken by surprise, as MTQI organizers paid tribute to GlobalBeauties.com, in recognition to its extensive and high quality coverage of MTQI in the last 6 years, and its valuable contribution to pageants in general.

The night was so splendid, that nobody here suffered from being far away from home on such a special date.

Thank you very much, MTQI! MERRY CHRISTMAS, everyone!!

Meet The Judges on 23rd Dec – Evening Gown

The all important pre-judging event took place on the evening of the 23rd. Alex Liu, president of MTQI, Ekaterina Grushanina, Miss Tourism Queen 2009, Justine Gabionza, Miss Tourism Queen 2006, Fabrice Wattez, Manhunt International 2003/4, Sean Chia, Vice president of MTQI, Zhang Feng, Director of Asia for MTQI 2011 and 2 local judges, scored the girls in evening gowns, swimsuits and interviews. The event happened at closed doors.

Most candidates did quite well when answering the judges’ questions. Misses Siberia and Sochi lost their voices, and had difficulty talking to the judges.

The evening gown parade showed amazing diversity of styles, going from simple and elegant, to way too busy and filled with details.
